Are you looking for easy Halloween recipes to help sweeten up your Halloween celebrations this week? I’ve got three recipes to share with you.I want to share a super easy (and a little bit spooky) Who’s Buried in the Brownie? recipe using Mars Minis. I’m brewing up a super fruity Cyclops Halloween Punch using Hawaiian Punch and 7UP. And I’ve got a fun way of using M&M’s in a snickerdoodle cookie to turn them into MonsterDoodle Cookies. I hope you enjoy my Halloween Recipes and I’d love to hear how you give dessert a spooky twist at your house!

I used the Mars Chocolate Minis (Snickers, Milky Way, Twix and 3 Musketeers) to add a sweet surprise inside my brownies. I call them Who’s Buried in the Brownie? because you don’t know which candy was buried in your brownie until you bite into it – even then it’s a little tough to guess. Now I didn’t plan on my brownies imploding – but a few of them did and I rolled with it by using white frosting to create a skeleton hand reaching out of the brownie instead of a tombstone with a question mark on it. Place the wrapped Minis around the brownies so your family can start guessing what’s buried inside their brownie!

Add a surprise to your brownies for Halloween by burying Mars Chocolate Minis in them! I used a Square Brownie Bar Pan. Can you guess "Who's Buried in the Brownie?"

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Brownie Mix
  • Oil, Water & Eggs (as instructed on box)
  • Mars Minis (Snickers, Twix, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers)
  • White Frosting (small tube)

Instructions

  1. Follow the instructions on the box of Brownie Mix to preheat the oven and combine all ingredients
  2. Scoop just enough brownie batter to cover the bottom of your each square in the pan then place one Mars Minis in the middle.
  3. Cover each Mars Minis with batter then cook for recommended time on box (should take less time than a large pan).
  4. Cool brownies after they finish baking and decorate with tombstones and skeleton hands using the small tube of white frosting.

Mix together Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red, 7UP, and apple juice to create Cyclops Halloween Punch. I wanted to make a fruity punch with a Halloween twist to it, so I used slices of lemon and green grape halves to create a “Cyclops Eye” on top of each cup of punch. To use the lemon ends that didn’t go into decorating, I squeezed them into the punch to add more zing.

Your kids will love this spooky fruity punch. Freeze green grapes ahead of time to use as edible ice cubes.

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian Punch Fruit Juicy Red
  • 7UP
  • Apple Juice
  • Lemons (1 lemon per 4 servings)
  • Green Grapes (fresh grapes for cyclops eyes, frozen grapes for edible ice cubes)

Instructions

  1. Freeze green grapes to use as edible ice cubes.
  2. Mix 3 parts of Hawaiian Punch with 1 part 7UP and 1 part apple juice into a punch bowl (so if you measure out 3 cups of Hawaiian Punch then you'll add 1 cup 7Up and 1 cup apple juice to it).
  3. Add the frozen green grapes to the punch bowl.
  4. Slice the lemons using the middle slices as cyclops eyes (4 slices from the middle of each lemon. Squeeze the lemon ends into the Cyclops Punch.
  5. Slice the green grapes for the center of the cyclops eye.
  6. Serve the Cyclops Punch by pouring into a clear plastic cup and adding the slice of lemon and green grape half.

It’s so easy to make my MonsterDoodle Cookies because you use a snickerdoodle cookie mix and just add M&M’s to it both before and after they bake.
